SUNY Oneonta's Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Four new EV charging ports have been installed in the Hunt Union parking lot. Operated on the Blink Network, they are the fastest Level 2 charging stations available and can charge any battery-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. These stations join our existing Level 2 Chargepoint station, installed in 2015 and upgraded in 2020, in the Alumni Field House parking lot. How do I pay?
- Blink stations at Hunt Union lot and Alumni Hall lot: Set up a blink account. $.35 per kwh.
- Chargepoint station at Alumni Field House: Set up a ChargePoint account to use the campus station. $0.25 per hour for the first four hours and $3 per hour after that. Maximum charge of $20
What is the cost?
- At the blink station the charge is $.35 per kwh.
- At the Chargepoint station the charge is $.25 per hour for the first four hours and $3 per hour after that with a maximum charge of $20. A typical electric vehicle should be fully charged within 4 hours.
When are they available?
- The stations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week regardless of the academic calendar.
